I’m sure you all know the special cars Jon Olssen had over the last years … all high end exotic cars with one very special feature in common … a custom ski box on the roof!

The first ‘skiboxed exotic’ Jon drove was a 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo back in 2007, a completely stock car that received a special wrap and a Tubi exhaust … now that could have created an avalanche already, but the next step for Jon was a stunning matte black Lamborghini Murciélago LP640 with straight race pipes … that one made even more music.

The LP640 got replaced with a Murciélago LP670-4 Super Veloce which was driven in two Gumball races, again with a race specs exhaust and naturally the by now Olssen trademark ski box on the roof … a small sidestep onto a Nissan GTR only to return back to the Raging Bull with an amazing looking Lamborghini Gallardo … this time wearing a DMC kit and a very impressive wrap combining white, grey and black sections.

On this DMC Gallardo Jon Olssen had the ski box nicely integrated into the design for less aerodynamic drag … he managed to do 260 Km/h without ripping the box away, in fact Jon drove this Lamborghini a lot, 40,000Km in one winter … today Jon Olssen is driving a totally custom made Audi R8 … but he intends to move one once he gets a decent offer on it.

In comes the LB Bape Aventador seen here … now that would be a nice replacement for the R8 Jon is driving these days as it also features a roof mounted box … seen for the first time in real life in fact.

Naturally the attention drawing gimmick on this specific Lamborghini Aventador is that ski box on the roof, but look closer and you’ll notice this V12 is wearing a complete LB Performance aerodynamic kit: front bumper and lip, side sills, rear lower diffuser and naturally that beautiful rear wing … note there is also an IPE Exhaust installed to allow some better ‘breathing’ …

To complete the transformation this Aventador received a very special, camouflage wrap … not the usual green army style nor the black and white Olssen style but an innovative white base with various shades of blue ‘blobs’ all over the car.

One of the photos made by talented Marcel Lech shows a goldRush Rally cap on the rear wing … probably this custom made Lamborghini Aventador will be used during this rally … which would explain the ski box on the roof … additional luggage space in an Aventador might be a good idea in this case …

Many thanks for Marcel Lech for sharing these amazing photos of a very special, customized Lamborghini Aventador … perhaps these will persuade Jon Olssen to come back to the Raging Bull family for his next ‘skiboxed exotic’.
