A clear indication that not all cars at the MUDETEC museum next to the Lamborghini factory in Sant'Agata are static show models is the fact they use these cars on a regular basis to be shipped around the world to participate in events ... the 20th edition of the Modena Cento Ore event between October 10 and October 15, 2020 saw two masterpieces from the official Lamborghini collection drive a total of 1,000 km between Rome and Modena.

The covers over the headlights on the Jarama actually fold down when required

The 1973 Lamborghini Jarama GTS was finished in Tahiti Blue over a brown leather interior, and driven by Gerald Kahlke, Head of Communications at Automobili Lamborghini SpA, this truly is a perfect GT car from the Seventies.

The silver metallic (Argento Luna), 1990 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary model driven by Emanuele Pirro, multiple world champion in the Turismo category, five-time winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and two-time winner of the 12 Hours of Sebring, is a very special car indeed, being the very last Countach ever built at Sant'Agata.

Still an amazing side profile on the Lamborghini Countach 30 years later

Both Lamborghini finished the Modena Cento Ore race after 1,000 km of road tests including uphill races on closed sections of road, but also laps on the Autodromo dell'Umbria in Magione, the Mugello Circuit and the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola ... still in great shape and mechanically perfect, a testament to their reliability and safety.
