Remember the Aventaboat article we published in February 2014 about Gino’s Lamborghini Aventador LP720-4 Roadster inspired MTI cat powerboat? Let me refresh your memory … Gino Gargiulo took delivery of his Giallo Maggio finished 50th Anniversary Aventador Roadster and created a matching race boat … a 48 foot G6 Series catamaran built by Marine Technology Inc (MTI).

Gino had some great fun with this yellow race boat, but when the order for the brand new Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 Superveloce Roadster was signed he naturally had to make a difference again … in mid 2015 he sold the Aventaboat to Russian car and boat enthusiast Vladimir Koshelev who had it shipped to Spain … and Gino ordered a brand new boat from MTI.

It took Xtreme Powerboats 16 months to build this new 52-foot MTI Aventador Superveloce inspired cat, and if you thought the Aventaboat was over the top … think again, this new Super Veloce Boat takes it to the next level … and beyond.

For power Gino once again opted for twin Mercury Racing 1550/1350 engines, but this time there are two different tanks installed, one for 93-octane fuel and another one for race fuel, coupled to a system with two separated pumps so he can switch between them from his seat at the helm.

This new 52-foot catamaran is made from carbon fiber and has been custom build to differentiate it from the regular 48 and 52-foot MTI boats, the cockpit is about a foot shorter and narrower for a more race inspired feeling and to allow Gino to operate the boat while being seated all the time.

Talking about seats, there are six units to sit on in this SV Boat, all designed like the actual seats in the Aventador Superveloce Roadster Gino owns, upholstered in leather and Alcantara, while the cockpit of this new boat has an actual Aventador carbon fiber dash pod for the Garmin displays. A carbon fiber center console taken from an Aventador is fitted.

There is even an air conditioning system installed on this boat, complete with actual Lamborghini vents while the steering wheel comes straight out of an Aventador too … the attention to detail is just stupifying here … this all looks so amazing.

Gino states: “MTI put inserts in the molds to create indentations in the hull sides and deck to make the boat look more like the car. This boat is much, much sleeker than the last one.” The previous boat was made to look like a Lamborghini … this boat is a Lamborghini, with the functional headlights, taillights, and rear view mirrors … all actual Lamborghini parts that have been modified to survive on water.

Once again Gino Gargiulo has created a no-expense-spared race boat to match one of his cars … just imagine what he could do if he owned a carbon fiber finished Centenario … a clear carbon fiber powerboat would be mind blowing indeed.
