It was struck by a delay, but I finally managed to get the second issue of LamboMAG - the enthusiast magazine finished, it is available for download right now.
Mid August I was invited to join members of the Lamborghini Club UK during their Picnic at Hever Castle, and I was very impressed by the number of super cars that joined us on the grass.
Our latest WALL of fame shows one of the most legendary Lamborghini of all time, the classic red Countach, a true masterpiece that adorned many bedroom wall back in the Eighties.

Some sources state that during a very special VIP event last week at the factory in Sant'Agata, a new Reventon Roadster was unveiled to a select group of invitees before it's public introduction at the IAA in Frankfurt.
In a preface to the Total 24h de Spa race, Reiter Engineering unveiled the impressive Murcielago LP670 R-SV race car built to the 2010 FIA GT regulations for next year's Championship.
I have updated the Lamborghini Hybrid article a bit further as some people questioned my statement on the Estoque while other sources talked about a Gallardo Hybrid.

In early September the Salzburgring in Austria is the place to be for Lamborghini enthusiasts, the Reiter Track Days will be held on September 7 and 8, gathering lots of Raging Bulls.
The latest races at Spa Francorchamps of the Blancpain Super Trofeo gave us the oportunity to get many additional photographs of these amazing cars.
Automobili Lamborghini SpA has just published their results for the first half of 2009, and they actually managed to maintain profitability while other car builders are facing massive losses.
The passage of the Blancpain Super Trofeo at Spa Francorchamps was a big success for the various drivers and teams in the world's fastest one-make series.

Only recently Reiter Engineering performed the initial testing on their brand new Gallardo LP560 GT3 race car based on the very popular LP560-4 model from Sant'Agata.
Next week the Total 24 hours de Spa will be held, round 4 of the 2009 FIA GT Championship, however the Blancpain Super Trofeo will also come to the famous circuit of Spa Francorchamps.
Round 2 of the Super Trofeo series at the Norisring in Germany was a real success for Klingmann, a full review is now available online.

Breaking news : A brand new Lamborghini is being prepared at Sant'Agata as you read this, the rear wheel drive Gallardo LP550-2 will become the first Raging Bull not to use four-wheel drive since the Diablo GT from the late Nineties.
Mid June was the perfect time for SpaItalia 2009 an anual event gathering hundreds of Italian super cars on the famous circuit of Spa Francorchamps in Belgium, naturally several Raging Bulls were present, our review covers them all.
We found a very special Lamborghini a while ago, the LM002 Brunei Special was built back in the Eighties for none other that the Sultan of Brunei. As he is an avid car enthusiast he couldn't buy the standard model so he ordered this very special 'Estate' version of the massive Lamborghini SUV.
This week's WALL of fame selection shows one of the most impressive Gallardo models ever, the Superleggera finished in a bright orange metallic shade.

In early June the Concorso Italiano was held at the TT Circuit in Assen, the Netherlands, this used to be the Viva Italia event by the way. Thanks to the great weather nearly 30 Raging Bulls showed up.
In a recent interview, Automobili Lamborghini SpA CEO Stephan Winkelmann stated that China could well become the second most important market for these amazing super cars.
My selection for the WALL of fame this week depicts a rear view of a bright, pearl metallic yellow Diablo VT 6.0, arguably the best Diablo in the series (the GT would be nice too, but it's a limited edition), also note the stunning rear wing on this one.

Recently the very first race of the amazing Super Trofeo championship was held on the famous Adri International raceway, naturally we have the pictures to go along the article.
We've been covering the Le Mans Series session at Spa during the weekend of May 10th, naturally there were several Lamborghinis present, two of them were even entered into the Le Mans Series itself.
To stay in the racing trend our latest WALL of fame depicts a magnificent Gallardo GT3 in a stunning livery that competed in the SRO GT3 classification at Spa.

The amazing Lamborghini Murciélago LP670-4 SuperVeloce has been introduced on the Chinese market at the Shanghai motor show, also marking the opening of a new showroom.
A large update this time, note that the latest issue of LamboMAG the Magazine could be downloaded a while already, but now you can also find the large PHOTO gallery online.
Automobili Lamborghini SpA has published a press release stating they achieved their 2008 targets, they actually managed to make a healthy profit while the rest of the economy went into a crisis.
Well known Reiter Engineering from Germany performed testing on their 50th race prepared Gallardo, this time based on the Gallardo LP560-4 and ready for GT2 racing, also note that they will be building the 2010 Lamborghini GT1 race car that complies to the new FIA GT regulations, based on the magnficent Murciélago LP670-4 SuperVeloce by the way.

Some really sad news has reached us, apparently any plans to put the Estoque in production have been put on ice for the time being, the current market situation isn't ideal to put another model in the line up at Sant'Agata, hence this amazing looking four door will not be seen on the road any time soon.

It didn't take too long for German based IMSA tuner to develop the IMSA LP560 GTV, a wide body conversion based on the magnificent Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4.
Always wanted to own a Lamborghini Espada but didn't manage to find a decent one ? No problem, we have found one for you, and you can even put it in the office, this 1/18 scale model is very nicely finished, and isn't as expensive as the real deal, especially in maintenance costs.

At the 2009 Detroit Auto Show you can encounter two brand new Ad Personam shades on the Murciélago LP640 and the Gallardo LP560-4, a matt-luster blue.
Official figures have been published by Automobili Lamborghini SpA that clearly show an increase in world wide sales for 2008.
In about a month RM Auctions will have their Collector Cars of Florida event, during which two Lamborghini's will be offered, one of them being the stunning black Cannonball Run Countach we've selected as our editor's CHOICE for the next two months.
We are back with our WALL of fame wallpaper, this week we wanted to share an amazing scale model with you, this 1/18 edition made by Norev of the Gallardo Nera sure looks very nice.
Also note that 15 additional images of the amazing Gallardo GT3-R have been made available, this year we will see the Blancpain Super Trofeo in action, but the GT3-R from Reiter is still an impressive looking car.

A week ago Automobili Lamborghini SpA published their end of year statement, but this week our attention is already going to the 2009 Geneva Auto Show, as each year we expect something new
from the Raging Bull, and this year it could be the long awaited Murciélago SV, an even more aggressive and powerful evolution of the current LP640 model.
December 31. 2008 :
German based tuner edo Competition has recently unveiled yet another super car based on the Murciélago flagship, the edo LP 710 Christian Audigier Limited Edition
is finished in matte black and shows some very nice added details both on the outside and in the interior.
In November this year the one of a kind 1965 Miura chassis was located in Cyprus, where it was bought back in 1978 by the Lamborghini
importer, who still owns it today, the chassis is now being restored in the US by Gary Bobileff.
Automobili Lamborghini SpA apparently isn't very much unfluenced by the current crisis in the financial world, they are again posting records figures for their 2008
End of year statement and have no intention to change their plans for the long term future.

A very impressive, orange metallic Murciélago Roadster was modified in Germany into the GTR Spyder by IMSA, a wide body tuning package that
turns your regular LP640 into something straight from the circuit.
We've discovered a matte black Lamborghini Murcélago from Singapore, if the stunning looks of the normal flagship aren't enough for you, maybe a re-style from
Premier4509 could win you over, it makes the V12 look somewhat like a Reventón without the million Euro price tag.

After a complete restoration costing over US $ 300,000 in total, the one of a kind Lamborghini Miura Roadster is offered for sale by Swiss based Simon Kidston.

We've seen the Estoque in Paris, however Lamborghini is planning production of the Estoque in 2011, so if all goes well we'll be seeing this
stunning concept turned into a production model in a matter of only three years.
For a while now there have been photographs all over the internet showing a black Murciélago LP640 with some strange additions made to it, it seems that Automobili Lamborghini SpA and
Quattro GmbH are researching the next-generation Murciélago using a test mule showing the known bodywork but using a different chassis.

The Estoque has been all over the internet since it was unveiled in Paris, however there were other Lamborghini at the Paris Motor Show 2008
too, some of them really impressive, albeit a bit overshadowed by the raging concept car.
Last weekend I've been to a tuning show, normally I don't visit this kind of events as I already have enough work visiting Lamborghini events, but this one was special, Hamann Motorsport Belgium would
display a stunning, yellow Lamborghini at the International Tuning Salon tuned with a nice selection of Hamann parts for this Raging Bull.
A few weeks ago we've shown you the brand new Blancpain Trofeo race car based on the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4, however in the United States, Dan Pastorini will be driving a unique DP7 Racing Gallardo GTR
in the 2009 SCCA Speed World Cup Challenge Series.
This time our WALL of fame wallpaper shows a magnificent pearl orange metallic Lamborghini Gallardo SE, only 250 were ever built of this 'Special Edition' V10 model.

I've been to the yearly Auto-Moto-Italia event in the Netherlands, each year a stunning collection of Italian cars and bikes are gathered there, naturally
a large number of Lamborghini's were present this year.
Another event I've visited last summer was the National Oldtimer festival held on the famous circuit at Zandvoort, towards the north of the Netherlands,
some great cars were there, among then a nice selection of Lamborghini's, both classic and recent ones.

race car, based on the Gallardo LP560-4, this brand new mono marque racer boasts no less than 570 Bhp ...
Another nice item was the fact that Automobili Lamborghini SpA donated a Gallardo LP560-4 Polizia edition to the Italian State Police, again finished in the
'blu polizia' shade just like the Gallardo from 2004 which this new car replaces.

Hamann Motorsport has recently unveiled a new tuning item for their amazing Gallardo Victory package, a genuine Carbon Fiber bonnet which would look really nice
on any Gallardo, but especially on one of those SE models I think.
This week's WALL of fame shows the final evolution of the Lamborghini Diablo, the amazing looking VT 6.0 version, finished in bright grey metallic over a
red leather interior.

A brand new issue of Lamborghini Cars, the MAGAZINE is now online, our 11th issue is now available for download together with a total of 30 wallpapers
from this issue.
Our WALL of fame also received a new update, this time another look at the amazing Lamborghini Murciélago LP640 with thundering Hamann exhaust.

Lamborghini Cars is proud to launch the Lamborghini Cars CLUB ! That's right, you can now join Lamborghini Cars
as a club member and get some amazing extra's not available before.
As of today we no longer have the 'Picture of the WEEK' selection on Lamborghini cars, we've renamed this collection into our WALL of fame, the concept remains
the same however, but we now also offer a brand new concept : the Picture of the DAY, a different image from our extensive collection shown to you every single day.

Last Saturday I could visit the Chateau Run 2008, a gathering of Lamborghini Club UK members in the region of Calais, each year they bring along some of the
most amazing cars to spend a relaxing weekend in some of the most amazing castle's in the north of France .
Our latest Picture of the Week depicts a rather rare color, this very early Lamborghini Diablo was finished in a factory original red metallic shade, not too
many were ordered this way back in the Nineties, combined with white leather featuring red piping and carpets it sure looks amazing ...
An additional photograph featuring the amazing interior of the LP640 Roadster VERSACE has been added.

Again an important update, we've added a nice selection of new Gallardo LP560-4 images that were taken during the last Auto Show at Geneva.
No less than two items have been added to our NewsFlash page, the first states that Lamborghini has entered the circle of
the most profitable car brand in the world while the second talks about Lamborghini's
strategy for China.
This time our Picture of the Week takes us back to the early Sixties, when the late Ferruccio Lamborghini built his very first production
model, the highly sought after 350 GT ...
Our Car of the Month feature is back, showing an amazing dark grey Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder featured in our previous
Magazine issue.
We also give you a Preview on SpaItalia that will be showing a tribute to Lamborghini this year, so their should be
a large gathering of Raging Bulls during this edition.
We also fixed a problem with the high resolution script, when clicking a 1600x1200 image the display in IE wasn't correct, this error
that wasn't shown in FireFox, only with IE.

one of my 1/18 scale Countach models, the very rare Walter Wolf LP400 with the roof mounted wing, in real life I don't think this specific
car would be easy to get in front of the camera, fortunately Kyosho made life a little easier by building a very nice scale model
that can be admired in your living room ...

Last week I visited the European Motor Show Brussels, and naturally there were Lamborghini's on display, a stunning orange metallic
Gallardo Superleggera and an intimidating black Murciélago LP640 Roadster.
Another Picture of the Week has been selected, a stunning black Lamborghini Countach with a light tan leather interior, photographed 'in action'
with the pop-up headlights open, a rare sight on the open road ...
Recently two new exterior colors have been unveiled by Automobili Lamborghini SpA available in the Ad Personam program, for the
Murciélago a light blue shade has been added while the Gallardo Spyder is now offered in a matte brown shade using a pigment similar to the one used on the
Reventón to give it that special sparkle.

VT Roadster form finished in bright yellow over a nice black leather interior featuring color coded yellow piping, a very nice combination with probably the most
popular color on the Diablo next to 'Rosso Diablo' ...
