I have had the good fortune to be able to visit the official Museo Lamborghini a few times over the years, and each time is an experience once again … even if I have to travel a very long time to get to Sant’Agata I take every opportunity I can get to go to the factory … but I do understand this isn’t possible for many fans out there.
If you are not living within Europe the flight into Italy is already a serious hurdle, both in time and in money … add to this your stay at a hotel and rental fee for a car to travel around and you are talking about some serious cash you’ll have to part with … but there is another option now:
Google Maps … that’s right, not only are you able to see Automobili Lamborghini SpA in Sant’Agata from the outside, you can now walk into the Museo Lamborghini and take a virtual visit among the large number of important cars on display … both production models, one-off prototypes and concepts are on display … and you can even step inside some of the Lamborghini on display … take a seat behind the steering wheel of the stunning Sesto Elemento.
