The Lamborghini Gallardo by Edo Competition Motorsport GmbH.
Looking for something different for your Lamborghini Gallardo ? Why not head into Germany ? In Ahlen you'll be able to have your 'standard' Gallardo, if there even
is such a thing, transformed into a special Edo Competition version ...
A few numbers perhaps ?
- Max. Horsepower : 550 Bhp (404 kW) at 7800 rpm
- Max. torque : 540 Nm at 4500 rpm
- Topspeed : 328 Km/h
- 0 - 100 Km/h : 4.2 sec
- 0 - 200 Km/h : 12.5 sec
Those are some pretty impressive digits when comparing to the factory Gallardo with 500 Bhp and 510 Nm reaching a top speed of 315 Km/h, this Edo Competition
version even 'shaves' a full two seconds off of the 0 - 200 Km/h time ...
Those figures have their origin in some finely tuned parts that are mounted on this 'personal' Gallardo, the 50 Bhp increase comes from a special '100 Cells
sport' catalytic convertor, a Carbon Fiber air-box on the engine and some fine modification of the electronics controlling the V10 engine.
The Gallardo Edo Competition features large 19 inch wheels with 235/35 ZR 19 at the front and 295/30 ZR 19 Pirelli P Zero's at the rear, these custom wheels are
finished in black and have the Edo Competition scripting done color coded to the car ... and they also have a tyre pressure system installed to keep you from driving
these magnificent rims with a flat !
The car is lowered about 15mm with a special suspension kit, and to get the car to a standstill if needed you now have 8 caliper, 365mm discs at the front and
4 caliper, 335mm discs at the rear, with ABS and ESP naturally ... not everyone is a race driver right ?
On the outside there are also some tinted turn signal lenses and the rear diffusor is color coded to the rest of the bodywork ... not added spoilers or wide
wheelarches on the Edo Competition Gallardo, just some mild touches here and there are all it took to create a one of a kind Lamborghini.
A really nice option is the fact that you can actually control the sound (or loudness) of the exhaust system with a button inside the car ... how does
that sound to you ?
If all this sounds like a good idea to personalize your own Gallardo, or you just want to know more about this 'orange' Lamborghini, contact Edo Competition by the
